    Welcome to Innovative
      Health Systems!

You have taken the first important step to help yourself, a friend or family member! On the following pages you will find information regarding our chemical dependency outpatient treatment services and directions to our facility.

INNOVATIVE HEALTH SYSTEMS operates under the administrative direction of Ross Fishman, Ph.D., a New York State certified psychologist and the medical supervision of David L. Marshall, M.D. an internal medicine physician.

INNOVATIVE HEALTH SYSTEMS offers  comprehensive chemical abuse and dependence outpatient treatment services to Westchester, Rockland, Bronx and Fairfield County residents and employees since 1985 and was the first free-standing outpatient alcoholism clinic in Westchester County. In 1990 it expanded to include all substances of abuse.

If alcohol or other drug use is disrupting your work, family or life or that of someone you care for, we invite you to call us to discuss your concerns or learn the details of our programs. You will receive a warm reception and be given the time to ask all the questions you may have. We also invite you to visit our facility. Whether you call for information or choose to visit - either way there is no obligation on your part.

INNOVATIVE HEALTH SYSTEMS is certified by the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services and has been serving community needs for over 25 years. We participate in many insurance plans including Medicaid. For the non-insured a sliding scale may apply.

The chains of addiction are to weak to be felt until they are too strong to be broken.

When you undervalue what you do, others will undervalue who you are. Conversely, when you undervalue who you are, others will undervalue what you do.

Good judgments come from experience and experience comes from bad judgments.

Our Monday - Wednesday after-school adolescent group counseling treatment program has been running continuously for over seven years. Individual counseling is available as needed. Parents are required to attend a Tuesday evening group to discuss concerns and strategies with the director of adolescent services. This component is open to parents seeking assistance and information even if their children are not in treatment.

We are now accepting middle and high school age teens and young adults 20-23 .

Call Dr. Susan Jocelyn with any questions you may have about any of these programs.

          IHS also conducts custom-made interventions.
