About Us

          As a leading provider of substance use disorder treatment services since 1985, we take pride in offering the most appropriate services to meet individual needs. We are dedicated to helping our clients overcome their substance misuse and related issues.

          INNOVATIVE HEALTH SYSTEMS operates under the administrative direction of Ross Fishman, Ph.D., a New York State certified psychologist and under the medical supervision of David L. Marshall, M.D. an internist certified to prescribe buprenorphine.

          INNOVATIVE HEALTH SYSTEMS has provided comprehensive outpatient treatment services for substance use disorders to Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Bronx and Fairfield County residents and employees since 1985 and was the first free-standing outpatient alcoholism clinic in Westchester County. In 1990 it expanded to include all substances of abuse.

          Our Monday - Wednesday afternoon teen-young adult treatment program, featuring group and individual counseling, has been running continuously for over nine years. "Parents" are required to attend a Tuesday evening parents-only group for the first six weeks (or longer, if they wish) to discuss concerns and strategies with a marital and family therapist. As a community service, this component is open to parents seeking assistance and information even if their children are not in treatment.
